Assignment: Country Presentation

Main Goals:

1. Conduct research on your approved topic using The World Factbook.
2. Design a PowerPoint presentation, and quantitative data charts on your topic.
3. Use APA style format to cite the government document, charts, and photographs

Instructions

PowerPoint Design

Choose a professional design template, and do not use a plain white template. All information will come from the World Factbook; photographs are found in Google Images; and all charts are created within PowerPoint.

• Title of Slide: Introduction

• Content: In your own words, introduce your country, and discuss the current population, location, climate, etc. - no more than thirty words.

• Photograph: Map

• Title of Slide: Geography Note
• Content: Properly insert the entire quote from the ‘Geography Note'.
• Photograph: The photograph should illustrate the Geography Note.

• Title of Slide: Ethnic Groups
• Data: Include the country's ethnic groups and percentages
• Chart: Produce a cluster column chart.

• Data: Include the country's religious affiliations and percentages
• Chart: Produce a bar, line, cylinder, cone, or pyramid chart.

• Content: Include the country's labor force by occupation and percentages

• Title of Slide: Conclusion
• Content: In your own words, discuss your reasons to visit the country - use less than 30 words
• Photograph: Your choice

Students must cite all the references used within this presentation in proper APA formatting: The World Factbook, all photographs/images, and both charts (you are the author of each chart). All references must be in alphabetical order.
