Leadership, communication, and technology will be continually infused in aspects of your academic and professional life. As you progress along your chosen career path, it is likely that you will organically grow your skills in these areas but development will also require thoughtfulness so that you can remain current and achieve continuous improvement. Concrete planning allows you to achieve the greatest benefits as a direct result of your focus, attention, and efforts.
Using the new conceptual knowledge you have gained in Units 1-3, you will create a plan to inspire and foster a commitment to professional growth and improvement in the areas of leadership, communication, and technology as it relates to your chosen concentration. This plan will include clear goals and strategies to develop or improve the skills that you will need to be a successful leader. The final plan will be a living document that will change and grow with you during your academic and professional career.
Assignment 4 will be submitted as an academic paper with proper syntax and prose following the rules of APA format. Content requirements are as follows:

· Body of Paper:
o Professional (personal) Mission Statement: A personal mission statement helps to define purpose and will serve as the foundation for your professional goals. Provide a clear, written statement of the person you strive to be in your professional setting.
o Professional value: Considering your chosen EdD concentration (e.g., Higher Education Leadership, Reading), how will the rapid advancements made in communication and technology impact leadership in your professional field?
o Areas of Excellence: fine your current strengths in the areas of leadership, communication, and technology (2-3 in each category). (Highlight your strengths as Areas of Excellence and provide a detailed example of how you have utilized these strengths in a professional setting.
o Areas of Improvement: Define your perceived limitations in the areas of leadership, communication, and technology (2-3 in each category). Explain why you consider each a limitation and why you think it will be valuable to improve these areas.
o References: A minimum of eight scholarly and timely published references (within the last 5 years); web sites can be used but will not count towards the minimum.

Professional Value- Organizational Leadership is my EdD concentration- I'm currently a Assistant Store manager at Walgreens. Where I run a 5 multi million dollar store, manage 50 emplyees, Top 3 liqour store in FLORIDA and one of the best 24 hours pharmacys in the region.
