A resume is an informative summary of your abilities, education, and professional experience. A resume might be one of the most important documents you will write during your professional career. Most importantly, a resume provides you the opportunity to select only your strongest qualifications and skills unlike many job application used by business companies.

A cover letter is a one-page document that you send with your resume when applying for a job. You will use the cover letter to show how the qualifications listed in your resume have prepared you for the specific job for which you are applying.
