Guidelines on Project -

For this project, you need to be able to summarize the concepts of "wabi sabi" "cool" and "MAYA" as explained in the 3 articles written by Meng-hu, Harris, and Thompson. The articles are available on Canvas. Remember: you must include parenthetical citations on the summary-slide, and full citations in the last "Works Cited" slide.

Next, you should illustrate these 3 concepts. Pick 3 designs of ONE common object and show how each design illustrates one of the aesthetic concepts. (In the sample given below, I have given you three illustrations to help you understand the assignment: Toothbrushes, teapots, and umbrellas. You only need to use one illustration in your submission. Here are some examples of objects that you could choose from for your illustration: bicycles, coffee cups, backpacks, chairs, houses, toasters, clocks, vases, mirrors, shoes, sunglasses, paper weights, cars, hair clips.
