For this assignment, you will need to conduct an evaluation of your own personal raw materials with respect to the following categories (discussed in video):

1. Strengths: current and potential. Use an online assessment

2. Faults or Bad Habits (what you, co-workers and/or family suggest for improving)

3. Interests, Desires, Passions (or what motivates you)

4. Personality/Core Values (or what's important to you)

Part One: Introduction: Discuss the purpose for your raw materials self-assessment.

Part Two: Raw Materials: For each of the four categories, please explain the following (you must complete all the Process and Feedback sections for each one of the four categories):

1.A Process: How did you conduct your self-assessment for all four categories? (Use at least one online assessment for the Strengths category and at least one online assessment for the Personality category. Interviews with friends, family, coworkers.)

1.B. Feedback: For all four categories, you should seek the feedback of your family, friends, co-workers, supervisors, and/or employees, etc. in order to gain knowledge from a perspective other than your own. Use their feedback to discuss the following for each category:

What are your resulting findings? In other words,

• What are your strengths? ...your potential strengths? ...
• Your faults or bad habits? Etc.
• Be sure to describe each trait or aspect (just listing a few adjectives is definitely not "A" or "B" work).

What insights about yourself did you learn from the self-assessment for that particular raw materials category?

What are your reactions to the feedback that you received from other people and from the online tools?

Part Three: Synthesis and Summary: Provide an overall summary of your raw materials and then synthesize the results for all of the categories. This is very critical for you to gain the benefit from this assessment. What did you learn about yourself from the various online assessments, friends, family, coworkers that will impact how you manage your own personal/professional brand?

Consider the balance between the positives and the negatives.

• Consider how certain traits or attributes might complement or might compete with others.
• Consider whether certain traits (either initially seen as positive or negative) might coincide with or perhaps might conflict with your discovery of your core values.
• Consider how this knowledge may impact your career goals and digital marketing article/plan focus. For example, what type of expert do you see yourself as?
• This synthesis and summary section is a critical element in tying all of your assessment work together, and will help you drive your digital marketing article and plan as we move forward. Be sure to put significant effort into this section.
