Requirements: You will conduct research on a United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) hazardous waste site listed on the National Priorities List (NPL). Use the link below to select a site within your state or as close to your location as possible (some states do not have NPL sites). (Georgia)
After selecting your site, prepare a presentation that provides information about the site; the hazardous agents present at the site; the extent of contamination; how the site has negatively impacted the environment and the health of people in the surrounding community; and identify the clean-up measures that were taken and if those measures are ongoing.
Instructions - Create a 15-20 slide presentation about the NPL site that you selected.
Be sure to include the information listed above.
Create a narration script in the notes section of your PowerPoint to develop a 30-60 minute presentation that will be uploaded to the Unit 9 Assignment Dropbox. You will record audio for each slide as if you were presenting to a live audience. The audio will be embedded directly into the PowerPoint presentation.
Provide a list of at least three references on the last slide.
