Team Presentations are due this week.

Each student will be placed into a team at the beginning of the course. Each team will be assigned one of the following topics for presentation and critique:

1. Infrastructure of an Informatics Department

2. The Role of Informatics in Decreasing Healthcare Disparities

3. HIPAA and Information Technology

4. Telehealth

5. Personal Health Records

6. Building Consensus for Electronic Health Records

Topic - How does information technology affect HIPPA? privacy issues

Each team will divide up responsibilities. Submission of an outline to faculty by Monday of Week 6 sent via email listing breakdown of individual assignments & content for the team presentation. Include course number, team topic and last name of team members in the email subject line.

The presentation should be innovative and informative. PowerPoint (with voice over recorded), Podcast, YouTube, Prezi (with voice over recorded) etc., may be used. This is a technology course so use cutting edge presentation skills. The presentation must be between 10 to 15 minutes long.
