Assignment - Play Project
You will conduct a Play Project over several days. The longer you can sustain arid extend play, and the more depth of learning you can achieve, the Wirt Two days of the play project will be counted as embedded practicum.
The assessment is divided into 2 parts - 2A the "Plan" and 2B a "Project" presentation of the plan which was implemented.
Assessment 2A is whom you set up plan lot your project, Assessment 2B will involve you conducting the Project and then designing a creative presentation which critically examines the project in relation to play as a tool for teaming, the environment, the role of adult, socio cultural teaching and learning and advocacy.
Both your plan (2A) and your Creative presentation of your project (2B) must have direct links to references and the core unit concepts/theories/ideas presented in Module 1 and Module 2.

Length: 1500 words
a). Conduct the Play Project - implement your Plan from Assignment 2A and conduct your Play Project
b). Create a digital response of your Play Project to submit for assessment - - create a digital presentation of your project which advocates play as a tool for learning and as the leading activity for young children's learning and development
You will create it for a particular audience in mind (eg. Parents, colleagues, community etc) with appropriate links to references
*Obtain a consent letter from your supervisor
*Obtain a letter to confirm completion of project and practicum

Your presentation/digital response includes:
1. documentation of the process and an analysis of this experience in relation to:
- play as a tool for learning;
- the environment;
- the role of adult;
- socio/cultural teaching and learning and advocacy
2. the learnings, the surprises, the challenges
3 critical reflective examination of your roles
4 what will you do as a consequence of what you have learned and experienced
Ensure you have links to literature in a form appropriate for your chosen audience
Some examples for your digital response include (but certainly not limited to)
• video
• newsletter
• presentation (eg. PowerPoint presentation)
• photo/video documentation of a hands on workshop
• a blog
