In this assignment you will be asked to select a client and using peer-reviewed evidence design an eating plan that supports your clients dietary needs and goals for example: high carbohydrate diet, or high fat, or high protein.

In order to complete this assignment. you will be required to download the FREE version of MyFitnessPal app onto your phone or tablet or create an online account before week 2.

Responses:

On a cover page, identify the client you have selected and outline their basic information, including: Name: age; body weight and percentage body fat activity level; goal and the daily kilojoule requirement estimated by MyFitnessPal and macronutrient split.

Develop a 7-day eating plan, using the estimated energy requirement by MyFirtnessPal, to meet the goals and requirements of your client. Provide a meal plan of the foods you have selected for each day and justify why you have selected specific foods when designing your meal plan.

Using peer-reviewed research, outline how the macronutrient eating plan you have designed will meet your Client's health and training requirements. Using the following formulas (outlined below): Harris-Benedict, Cunningham, Schofield and Mifflin-St Jeor, calculate your client's daily energy requirements (show all working).

Comment on how closely your calculations for each formula match the daily kilojoule requirement estimated by MyFitnessPal and explain they may differ.
