Assessment
Purpose: To allow students to reflect on the weekly subject content, managing their thoughts and interpretations into coherent, defensible arguments. This assessment contributes to Learning Outcomes a, b, c and d. In addition to answer some questions related to the overall direction of the course.
Topic: Topics to reflect on will be posted in Moodle in Weeks 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7. Students should work on topics progressively during the trimester and provide a final combined submission in Week 12.

Write one (1) page summarising your own personal understanding of the issues in this Ethical Dilemma. Explain how and why you personally might have responded to the situation in the Dilemma. Keep this to include in your final reflection essay,
How to Submit: Part A: Individual Report: Soft copy - Word .doc or .docx uploaded to Moodle & Turnitin. Do not submit PDF documents or documents in other non-word formats.
Task Details: A reflective report which includes a summary of your responses to the five (5) topics discussed in Weeks 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7. It MUST also contain your answer to the following question;
Is a universal Code of Ethics for global businesses needed and is it possible?
This question should be answered with reference to the five (5) topics.
All reflections should be supported by reference to the text and other relevant academically acceptable sources.
Research Requirements: Students need to support their conclusions and recommendations with suitable references, including the text and a MINIMUM of 10 peer reviewed academic journal articles. Unacceptable references include general websites/blogs, newspapers, magazines. Check with your tutor if unsure of the validity of sources. Groups seeking Credit or higher grades should support their analysis with a higher number of reference sources.
Reflection Report writing Style: The Individual Report should be written in formal academic narrative style.
The Report will be evaluated for discriminatory language, clarity of expression and overall presentation including grammar, spelling and punctuation. Do not use bullet points, casual language (or bracketed comments). Use headings sparingly.
The individual Reports must be fully and appropriately referenced using a formal academic style. Harvard Anglia is the preferred style.
