As an early childhood educator, you're responsible for keeping children safe, as well as serving as a mandated reporter. This means that if child abuse or neglect is suspected, you are legally responsible for notifying the appropriate authorities. In order to effectively determine if a child has been abused or neglected, there are different signs you can look for.
