For this assignment you will research the legal and ethical issues related to working with a special population of students, and how these affect a school psychologist's role. The topic may be selected from the list provided on page 13. The paper must be written consistent with APA style guidelines and address:
• Literature and research in the area
• Legal issues and implications (referencing applicable federal, state, and local laws)
• Related ethical issues (referencing NASP and APA codes)
• Implications for school psychology practice
