Argument 1: First reason the president has accumulated power, the president is now declaring war on nations such as Syria and Libya which was originally vested upon the congress by the constitution.

The president Donald Trump have order the military on Thursday to discharge an attack on Syria due to their actions of using chemical weapons across the civilian. The United States Congress has not approved the decisions to start a war with Syria. However, the president Donald Trump wants to take action upon his position (Savage, 2017). Trump and his administration states that they want to start a war with Syria due to the consequence of violating the ban on using chemical weapons and trying to do deterrence (Savage, 2017). Before the United States starts a war with other country the United States must be sure using the two sets of legal rights (Savage 2017). The first one is "international law" and how is lawful for any country to attack other country (Savage, 2017). The second one is "domestic law" which states the president and Congress from the United States is under attack from other country (Savage, 2017). However, Donald Trump order an attack to Syria without Congress or United Nations approval. According to Savage (2017), the War Power Resolution of 1973 states that the president must consult with Congress before starting a problem or a war with the United States Armed Forces (Savage, 2017). In the same time, if there's an emergency in the United States for instance an attack the president has to act quickly but Syria has not attack the United States in any shape or form (Savage, 2017). The president has to consider other perspectives as Congress when evaluating for answers but the majority of the presidents are educated and has the knowledge when choosing a decision that can impact people (Savage, 2017). The president won't take the risk on putting the nation in jeopardy.
