"The Apple website is very successful in displaying ALL of its products in its homepage. I found 4 very effective ways that customers can interact with Apple products through the website: 1. Selecting the products through the visual pictures (with prices), 2. Clicking on the top bars with the product names, 3. Selecting the products from the left column (Shop Mac, Shop iPod, Shop iPhone and Shop iPad) and 4. Displaying a telephone option - "Calling 1-800-MY-APPLE". This demonstrates Apple's effective marketing strategy of making their product available, easily distributed through free shipping with a $50 or more purchase (not to mention the many retailers they utilize as well) and the many promotional avenues it uses such television commercials, magazines, social media adds, the Internet and even with actual banners. The website has categories such apple accessories, top seller, staff picks, special deals and even has a section that informs the customer on "explain why buy at the app store". Apple has done a wonderful job meeting its target market and providing the resources needed to make its products successful; they have manuals, video tutorials, self-service online assistants and "communities" by product to share solutions. Apple products are innovative and speak for themselves but providing a platform that makes it easy for the customers to interact with them is a bigger plus."
