Answer Strategies: Include the analysis of the identified problem and key issues using our course concepts and models to back up your analysis the HR Scorecard Systems Integration (see attached) additional HR research (and any of your own HR management experience). Here is where you would also include any history leading up to this point that isn't anywhere else in the report.
Answer Action Plans: Include specific solutions (also called recommendations) and action plans (also called implementation plans): specific and feasible suggestions for the client on how to make improvements / resolve your identified strategic HR challenge and key issues. Explain how your recommendations will benefit HR and the organization. It is all about the details!
a) Consider existing resources (i.e. are sufficient human, financial, or other resources available to accomplish the implementation of your suggestions?), the culture (e.g. Will they accept your ideas? What kind of motivational programs are needed to implement your action plans?), and any ethical implications of your recommendations-not all strategic HR recommendations are created equal! Make sure to establish priorities for these suggestions/solutions. If relevant, you should identify short-term and long-term solutions and even come up with timeline for implementation to guide your client if it seems appropriate. It is critical that your recommendations and action plans match your identified strategic HR challenge / problem and issues.
b) Answer: Procedure Implementations "Sell your recommendations" by explaining how your recommendations will benefit HR and the organization and resolve the strategic HR problem and key issues using sources to back up your suggestions. You need to explain how the recommendations satisfy and balance different stakeholders' requirements and interests (e.g., Board of Directors, Management, Employees, and Public) and use expert sources to justify your claims.
