One of the theorists in the book set out to establish a theoretical system for comprehending organizations in a behavioral rather than legalistic manner. Identify and briefly describe four of this theorist contribution to organization theory and behavior.

3. The need for organizations to be methodical, prudent, and disciplinedusually result in extreme adherence to rules and regulations. Thus, identify and describe the consequences of over adherence to control methods within organizations.

4. As a potential public administrator, you will be placed in situations wherein you have to act as a mediator between two or more employees with divergent perspectives on specific organizational issues. Thus, during one of our class sessions, we discussed the importance of the impersonal aspects of leaders and employees relationship, and the significance of solving problems cooperatively. Hence, identify and describe the various ways that the theorist say disagreements should be addressed and what is the ideal method the theorist suggests should be used to do so.

5. Some of the goals of public administrators are to create high achieving teams by establishing high achieving objectives that enhance employee relationship within teams, and group decision making. In a class session, we talked about collaborative relationships. Identify and briefly describe the various elements of collaborative interactions that we talked about in class.

6. Maslow's theory of needs is involved in every human pursuit within organizations. Thus, we talked about two assumptions, one, is about human nature and the resulting philosophy of management based on directing and controlling employees through the exercise of formal authority and the other is about human nature and behavior and the resulting philosophy of management based on integration and self-control. Identify and briefly describe these two assumptions.
