AIMS -

To provide students with the fundamental understanding and principles of research methodologies;

Develop the students with the thorough knowledge of the gamut of research processes.

The learning strategy for this module requires you to commit 150 learning hours (including assessment) for the module.

INDICATIVE CONTENT

This module covers different research methodologies. It provides the tools and techniques for completion of the final year investigation.
The topics covered are: ideas generation, reviewing and evaluation of literature, research approaches and strategies, access and ethical issues, sampling techniques, secondary data sources, observational and interview research, questionnaire design and development, analysing quantitative and qualitative data and discussion of findings.
