Prepare a report on the problem of salinity in the Corangamite region by answering the following questions:-

Q1 Give a summary of the history of the region - soil types, geology and soil formation, land use

Q2 Discuss the historical causes of the salinity problem

Q3 What is ‘recharge' and why is the issue of recharge important when considering the salinity problem and possible solutions

Q4 What effect has salinity had on land use

Q5 What methods have been tried in the past and currently being tried to ameliorate the salinity problem? Discuss giving examples of methods tried on individual farms
