After completing your assigned reading and the Cultural Competence and Diversity Scenarios study in this unit, consider the various cultural communication barriers, nuances, health literacy issues, concepts, or other disparities.

In your initial post, address the following for each scenario:

What concerns can you identify for a population group, beyond the individual patient involved?

Describe any potential cultural communication issues.

Identify and discuss any verbal or non-verbal cues that may affect the patient's health disparities (such as quality of care, access, language, and so on).

Now assume a health care administrator's role. Given what you know, what insights or solutions can you offer?
