Advice to Future Self Essay
All of you have set goals for your future. Your choice to attend PC is one of these goals.
In June of 2005, Steve Jobs (Apple) gave the commencement address at Stanford University. Watch the 15 minute address carefully. Jobs discusses his life lessons in three main points. Identify these three areas, define them, and critically analyze their importance. Jobs commencement address after watching Jobs' speech and several other commencement addresses, write a commencement speech to your future self upon graduation.
The essay must be 2 pages, double-spaced in MLA format with Times New Roman 12 font. Your essay should contain three pieces of advice on how to attain your future goals with a detailed description of each piece of advice to yourself after you graduate. Organize your essay carefully with an introduction containing a thesis sentence (your 3 goals), 3 body paragraphs each with topic sentences referencing a goal, and a conclusion. The entire essay should be your own ideas and not contain any quotes or secondary information.
