About the company

It is a coffee chain shops, there are few branches,the company currently employs over 100 people business is relatively good and stable, and the structure of the shop are divide into four parts. First is boss, who generally responsible for important decisions and human resource management, because the business is stable, he does not care much about his business, and most of time spends on his interest and family. Second is senior manager, who in charge all branches daily business, visit the operation of each branch, setting the performance goals for each shops, and report the current operation situation to the boss. Third is shop manager, who responsible for daily shop operations, like raw materials ordering, scheduling, and training new employees. The last are staff, managed by manager, and maintain the operation of the store.

About the problem
Branch A current shop manager Billy are the oldest staff of this company, and he also is the boss's cousin, he thought he should be promoted to senior manager, but finally the boss promote branch B's shop manager to senior manager, Billy was dissatisfied with this. Billy began to slack on the job, his interest in attending to customers is non-existent and does not participate in team employee activities, the work belongs to him also let other employees to complete.

Due to Billy's actions, senior manager notice that the branch A's performance are not that good as before, managers of other shops are also reflected that in the communication of staff transfer and the material distribution of branch A is not so smooth. In order to get feedback, senior manager have had to get necessary business information directly from the staff of branch A. This situation has led to a negative team spirit and affected employee performance on all levels, andwithout Billy's guide, most staff unsure what they should do.
Billy has been a part of the company since opening, he has a great relationship with the community which around the coffee shop, meanwhile he also is boss cousin, senior manager feels boss will not terminate Billy, and even if terminate Billy, the shop business will be greatly affected.
