(a) Determine the number of units per day started in the third stage (machine 3). (b) The standard time per part processed at the third stage is 2.5 minutes. The corresponding machine requires a 15. minute setup every day. Assuming one daily 8-hour shift, and a machine availability factor equal to 0.85, find the fractional number of machines required in the third-stage operation.
