Q. A robotics industry has hired a consultant to help apply advanced manufacturing techniques to increase profits. Presently industry sells most of its products to a high-end customized online retailer also sales are steady at 250 per month. A single work cell produces robots. To produce robot, 3 operations are needed. First parts must be assembled, next software must be installed also finally robot must be safely packed also labelled for shipping. These operations take 2 hours, 5 hours also 1 hour respectively. If there are 6 available work hours every day also industry operates 20 days per month find:

(a) take time
(b) number of workers industry should hire.
