A major issued faced in the world of Paralympic Sport is classification. Should there be an "open class" or "different classes" of competition as discussed in our text? Should eligibility be determined by ability rather than disability? Should the Paralympic Games be down-sized?
The textbook discusses the Paralympic Games in chapter 9, but not very thoroughly, so you will have to do a little research on your own to properly answer the questions above.
