1.Reflective Analysis:

Reflecting on your past experiences and your time at Drexel is an important part of your career development. Write a 2-3 page paper which articulates your story and where you are going in life (career goals, specifically referencing when you decided on your career path? The circumstances surrounding the decision? Family influence? Classroom experience? Co-op? Other?) and how you plan to achieve such goals. Give your story an appropriate title. This paper is between you and your class; it's not a document that an employer would read.

2.Development Plan (2 part assignment):

Part I: Industry Outlook-You will write a two paragraph overview of your target position and industry. This information will include employment outlooks and projections, required education and licensure, and average salary ranges for entry level professionals. It is necessary to use external sources (see below) and cite this information. There should be two other resources used besides the BLS website.

Part II: SMART Goals-You will use the SMART goal format to address four categories two required-Networking & Industry/Technical Skills; and two additional categories-Identifying a Mentor, Personal Growth, Social Integration within Company, Financial Planning, Community Integration, Cross Cultural Awareness, Leadership Skills, Advanced Education/Professional Licensure or you can create a category more relevant to your career goals.
