• Provide one example of a person that was able to lead people without having an actual position or title of leadership, such as president, or monarch or captain etc.

2. What prompts you to follow someone's lead? In other words, what type of person or a person characteristics would prompt you to follow their leadership?

• What types of things determine a person's level of influence with those around them?

3. The reality for most people is that they will never be the CEO or the top leader in their organization. Does this mean that they should give up? Explain your answer and why you think they should or should not give up.

• What are the prospects for you getting to the top of your career or organization and becoming the top leader in that group? What is your motivation to reaching the top? Or why would you not want to reach all the way to the top of your organization or career?

4.  How are you learning to lead or manage? What opportunities do you currently have or what can you do right now that could further develop your management and leadership skills?

5. Is not having the requisite experience a hindrance to you leading or managing an organization or department? Explain your answer and provide examples if necessary.

• Would you consider applying and accepting a position that you may not be fully qualified for, but meet some or most of the requirements?

6. What are the advantages or disadvantages of being the manager or leader of an organization or owning your own company? Discuss this from a leadership and management perspective.

• This myth talks about a leaders having the freedom to implement their goals once they get to a top position in the organization. Do you think this is true or are there limits as to a leader's ability to implement their ideas? Please discuss in detail.

7. Eleanor Roosevelt said "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent." How does that idea relate to allowing a title or position limit your potential?
