2. The effectiveness and appropriateness of corporal punishment is one of the most widely debated issues in parenting. Some argue that corporal punishment is an acceptable form of discipline that will help improve

3. Structure - whether at the level of the family or the community is important in understanding delinquency. Neighborhood and community conditions can play a strong role in determining delinquency, even above and beyond parenting. What are the major factors in how neighborhoods affect delinquency?
