1) Betty Malloy, owner of the Eagle Tavern is preparing for Super Bowl Sunday, and she must determine how much beer to stock. Betty stocks three kinds of beer: Yodel, Shotz, and Rainwater. The cost per glass to the tavern owner of each beer is Yodel = $1.50/glass

Shotz = $0.90/glass

Rainwater = $0.50/glass

The Tavern budget for Super Bowl Sunday is $2,000. Betty sells Yodel for $3.00/glass,

Shotz for $2.50/glass, and rainwater for $1.75/glass. Since this is the Super Bowl, quantity is limited by the distributor to 400 glasses of Yodel, 500 glasses of Shotz, and 300 glasses of Rainwater. The Tavern has a capacity to stock the equivalent of 1,000 glasses of beer. Clearly she would like to maximize profits on the day.
