1. Read the article titled "The Role of Corporate Communication and Perception of Justice during Organizational Change Process".

Next, analyze the relationship between communication and resistance. Evaluate the major consequences of poor communication.

2. Please respond to this post

After reading this article I see where both resistance and communication both work together. In order for a company to implement change they need to communicate with their employees, because people respond to change in various way. Some people accept change and actively participate while other people would rather avoid the change and will resist it (Oreg et al.,2008).

Communication very important between a company its employees and it has to be the correct way. With businesses constantly struggling to keep with other businesses and all the technological changes it is important for companies to communicate with their employees so that they don't have a hard time adjusting when change comes about.

By communicating early on it can help to ease the employee's anxieties about the change and instead of resisting the change they will be able to embrace it.

One major consequence of poor communication is employees resisting the change. When employees resist change it could cause employee morale to go down.

When employee morale is down people tend to look for employment elsewhere and production levels could also suffer. Poor communication could also create a toxic work environment which could destroy a company.

It is better for the employees to hear about change from management rather than hearsay because the wrong information could get passed around and the company would then have to do damage control in hopes of controlling the situation.
