Imagine you are a new employee in a human resource (HR) department. Your first task is to develop a stress management seminar for the employees. Determine the topics that should be covered in the seminar.

To begin this discussion, one must understand the meaning of what Stress management are, it is a technique to remove stress from life by identifying the factors that cause stress. Therefore, if I am a new employee in a human resource (HR) department the topics that I think should be covered in the seminar are as followed:

Identify the training audience, based on the level of importance determine training needs, find successful and cost-effective training programs for the organization that has been demonstrated in the past, create programs and appropriate training hours needed based on availability, once training has been provided ensure time for feedback, and ensure on the job training so that "lessons learned" can be used and demonstrated on the job.

These topics develop for the seminar are ways to reduce stress that will help employee maintain production with the appropriate training and feedback due to it allow interaction among one another as well as one on one interaction which lead to a more peaceful mind within the organization they are a part of daily as well it allow them to gain growth of and about the organization.

The Chief Learning Officer's (CLO) Website, the article titled "Southwest Airlines: Employee Education Takes Flight". Determine if Southwest's method of training is an effective way to conduct training and provide one recommendation for improvement.

After reading the article, I can only say that Southwest Airlines history and background speaks for itself their method is the best yet of providing training to their many employees.

During 9/11 Southwest Airlines was not affected in any way because of it due to the belief of their employees, customers and stockholders. Southwest Airlines employee's efficiency and effectiveness is enhanced by the eight different training department and their University that focuses on the aspect of the development of each employee.

Being a part of this organization is a tremendous opportunity because as you look at Southwest Airlines background the turnover is very low which means these employees are not as stressed and love what they are doing. If I had to improve anything as the article stated, they have extreme problem with the vendors as they already do, just keep hiring and firing until they get the right one that have the same vision and mission as Southwest Airlines.
