Abstract: A brief summary of your topic and hypothesis as well as the major components of the research proposal (sample, research design, and data collection techniques)

Introduction: Problem statement with a brief history of the problem, your hypothesis, and identification of the independent and dependent variables [Revise as needed based on instructor feedback on the midterm]

Background and Literature Review:Summarize four relevant/related research projects, their usefulness, flaws, and strengths [Revise as needed based on instructor feedback on the midterm]

Research Design: A description of your research design and a justification of why this particular design was chosen; discuss how your variables will be studied or controlled [Revise as needed based on instructor feedback on the midterm]

Sampling: Provide a description of your sampling plan; identify the population, sample, and sampling technique chosen.

Data Collection Techniques: Describe your one or more data collection techniques (e.g., survey, focus groups, interviews, field research, existing data, etc.)

Research Considerations: Discuss validity, reliability, and at least 1 ethical issue as they apply to your research study design.

Reference List: You must include correctly formatted APA citations in the body of your paper and a matching reference list in appropriate APA form [Revise as needed based on instructor feedback and any additional sources you have used]
