On step one, make sure that the button "enter up to 50 rows" is selected. On Step 2 (Enter Your Data), label the two columns with your two independent variables values (male and female), and then enter the caseworker ratings in the appropriate column. In Step 3, because your data are not paired ( data for a particular female client is not paired with data for a particular male client) make sure that the button "unpaired t-test" is selected. Then click the "Calculate Now" button. What is the p value? Are results with this p value generally considered statistically significant or not? Based on this finding, could you reject the null hypothesis that there is no difference in caseworker ratings between male and female clients?
