Tickets for the dance to be sold @$50 per couple, and the sale of drinks should net $10 per couple. The Ballroom was donated and has seating of 300 couples. Hor'dourves will be provides @$5 per couple, and $500 will cover labor and miscellaneous expenses. There is a choice between two band, the Flames which cost $6,000 and the Charms wich cost $3,000

They think it is highly probable that 200 tickets can be sold even if Charms are used and that 150 is the absolute lower limit. It is also estimated that lowering the price to $40 will increase sales by 20-40 tickets.

Assume ticket price of ticket is $50

1) a) Calculate the break-even ticker sales for each band.

b) Express your answer as a percentage of estimated ticket sales

Please show me how to do this! I can't distinguish what to use for variable or fixed cost either.
