Technology is constantly improving, increasing the speed of communication, and many software programs on tablets, laptops, and phones now anticipate our next words or phrases. Docmail, a UK-based printing and mailing company, conducted a study and concluded that one of every three adults had not been required to produce something in handwriting for more than a year.

To check this claim in the United States, a random sample of 656 adults was obtained, and 235 said they had not been required to produce something in handwriting for more than a year.
