1. First input the data into SPSS, you must ensure that all information is entered fully under variable view and all numbers are correct in data view, as well as run the appropriate descriptive statistics to answer the following questions. Make sure to save the output window in PDF format with all appropriate tables, graphs, and selected calculations/outputs for submission.

2. Enter the data set, create the appropriate charts in order to answer the following questions in APA format and complete sentences:

4. Before you run data, you should first run basic descriptives to get familiar with the data. If you were to run descriptives for all variables being used in the study questions below, which would you calculate and/or run and why? (Central Tendency, Measures of Variability, Graphs, or Frequency tables) Explain which descriptives you would run for the variables utilized in the following questions and why? (THERE IS NOT DATA TO RUN HERE - this is about explanation, no SPSS output needed for this question).

5. Select appropriate test to run, run it on SPSS, and then answer the following: Is there a statistically significant difference in academic performance in 1999 between year-round and non-year-round schools? How do you know? Explain?

6. Select appropriate test to run, run it on SPSS, and then answer the following: Is there a statistically significant difference in academic performance from 1999 to academic performance in 2000? Explain?

7. Select appropriate test to run, run it on SPSS, and then answer the following: Is there a statistically significant difference in academic performance in 2000 according to the socioeconomic standing of the school as measured by the percentage of students that receive free meals? Explain.
