Research Project
1. Students are required to contact their supervisors immediately and finalize the topic of their Project.
2. They have to prepare a Project Proposal and submit it to their supervisors. If the supervisor is satisfy with the project proposal, they can start the work.
3. The supervisors will have to update the College about the development of the project in the mid semester (i.e. 15 March 2016) on a prescribed proforma (will be sent to all the supervisors).
4. The supervisors will submit the final grades of Research Project as well as its presentation latest by 20 April 2015 to the Supervisors' Coordinator.
5. The project formatting guidelines are given below.
Formatting the Project Report
The Research Project will be of around 60 to 80 pages long; 12 point size; Times New Roman Font, APA Style. It consists of three main parts - preliminaries, text, and supplementaries. Each part is to be organized as shown below:
1. Preliminaries:
- Title page (required)
- Abstract (required) only one abstract allowed
- Acknowledgments, only one acknowledgments page allowed
- Preface
- Table of Contents (required)
- List of Tables
- List of Figures
- List of Symbols
- List of Keywords (optional)
- Other Preliminaries (optional) such as Definition of Terms
2. Text
The text of a thesis features an introduction and several chapters, sections and subsections. Text may also include parenthetical references, footnotes, or references to the bibliography or endnotes.

- Appendices
- Glossary
- List of Abbreviations
