REQUIREMENTS:

The following key performance indicators (KPI) should be covered at various sections of your report.

1. Compare the 2017area's market segment mix from the STR reports with your hotel's and comment on similarities and differences.

2. Compare the 2017 area ADR, RevPAR and Occupancy percentages and comment on similarities and differences .

3. Critically review important market developments and identify possible impacts that they might have on the hotel.

4. By using various 2017 data identify the price sensitivity of each segment by quarter and week day and weekends.

5. By using the 2017 ADR,derive the price response function for each segment in order to calculate the optimal price for week and weekend days .

6. Compare the optimal price for each segment with the current rates charged by your hotel and comment on your findings.

7. Use the optimal price findings and estimate expected demand on a yearly base for each segment .

8. Perform data decomposition and prepare seasonally adjusted data for all market segments .

9. Forecast anticipated Rooms demand for next year on a quarterly base by using a least two non-causal forecasting methods.

10. Compare the estimated demand from the non-causal forecasting and the optimal price approach and discuss possible reasons for their variations .

11. Propose the optimal segment mix and distribution channels in order to maximise Rooms' and F&B revenue .

12. Use your findings to discuss the feasibility of achieving the owners' financial expectationsand provide recommendations on what if anything needs to be changed in order to maximize revenue and optimize profits .

13. Provide suggestions for middle (2-3 years) and long-term (5 years) strategies and directions.

14. Presentation of written work.The final report is well written, reflects accurate proof reading with no grammatical, syntactic, spelling or typographical errors, style of writing is consistent throughout and the report represents a coherent, integrated and holistic paper .

15. Complete excel file with evidence of all calculations.
