Describe modern portfolio theory (MPT) in your own words, and describe what critics say about MPT. Perform some research on algorithmic trading (robo trading) and then explain how you would handle investing your own money. Recall that when you own stock, even through a mutual fund (such as your 401(k), that you become one of the owners of the company. That means that the company has obligations to you. Does this change your outlook? Would you invest in foreign firms?
