Use SPSS.  Use the salary.sav data file to answer the following problems:

Predict natural log of beginning salary from gender, educational level, work experience, and minority status variables sex, edlevel, work, and minority).

Save the leverages, Studentized residuals, standardized changes in regression coefficients, and Cook's distance. Obtain all of partial regression plots. Show your plots in your answers.

a. Plot the leverages against ID variable. Are there any points that stand out from the rest?

b. Are there any unusual Cook's distances?

c. Look at each partial regression plot. Edit them to comprise the regression line and R². For the work experience variable, employ the Partial Correlations procedure to show the relationship between R² for partial regression plot and partial regression coefficient.

d. Does the partial regression plot for the education level look linear? What does it suggest?
