Part 1 Discussion

Domino's Pizza" Please respond to the following:

Determine whether the current organizational structure at Domino's is a good match for its corporate strategies.Explain your rationale.

Evaluate alternative structures to determine which one would be most appropriate for Domino's to consider and discuss likely benefits Domino's would realize from adopting that structure. Provide specific examples to support your response.

Conduct additional research on the organizational structure of Domino's and CITE YOUR SOURCE.

Part 2 Response

Based on the case study in the textbook Domino's has a multidivisional structure, with divisions in domestic, international, and supply chain. Since revenue comes from these three channels, it makes sense strategically to operate in these divisions.

However, there are additional complexities that come from the large percentage of franchise locations, both domestically and internationally. The operating model, by working geographically, gains efficiencies globally, but potentially doesn't account for the unique needs between the owned and franchised operations.

Given that the international growth continues to exceed domestic growth, even through the recent 4th quarter results, it may be beneficial to transition to a worldwide geographic area structure.

This would allow Domino's to tailor its offerings and support at the local level, with greater attention to local palettes, expectations, and experiences.

Even as technology advances, there can be greater flexibility depending on local capabilities. This would also allow the business to focus on the larger growing segment with additional levels of detail, and allow the businesses to measure internally and externally at a more granular level.

Looking forward to your thoughts.
