Ask Statistics and Probability Expert

Part -1:

Please complete the following:

1. Correlation - Run a Pearson correlation matrix on the variables measured on interval and scale ratio. Report the descriptive statistics and identify the strongest and weakest correlations.

2. Regression - Run a simple regression using competency score after training as the independent variable and performance rating as the dependent variable. Report the descriptive statistics, assumption tests (scatter plots) and tests of statistical significance.

3. Report - Copy and paste the appropriate output into a Word file. In the same Word file and report your findings in APA format. You should only be attaching ONE file to the assignment drop box (a Word file with your write up and relevant SPSS output copied and pasted into the document).

4. Practice - Please note that you can complete the following exercises for additional practice. In the Help menu, locate the SPSS Statistics Coach "Identify significant relationships between variables." Click on "Scale, numerical data (interval, ratio). Select "Two (or multiple pairs of variables)." Work through the material on "Tables and numbers" and "Charts and graphs."
Please submit your assignment by Sunday.

Part-2:

Discussion

- Conduct a one-sample t-test to test the hypothesis that the average performance rating is equal to 3 (average).
(Variable: Rating).

- Use an independent-samples t-test to determine whether self efficacy after training scores for those who attended the training session are significantly different from the self efficacy after training scores for those who did not attend the session (Variables: Efficacy2and Attended).

- Use a paired-samples t-test to determine if the competency scores after training are the same as those before training.
(Variables: Comp1 and Comp2).

Attach a Word file that includes a research summary of your findings (written in APA style) that includes the SPSS output (copied and pasted into your Word document). You should only be submitting ONE document that includes your research summary and tables. Please submit your assignment by clicking on the assignment title. This assignment is due by Sunday.
