NPV considers cash flows and not accrual accounting. These cash flows are cash outflows or the initial investment and net cash inflows. If we were opening a new Greek restaurant called Mike's Crazy Greek Gyros' ( I am Greek and love Gyro's). What would be some of the initial costs or investment of opening up this restaurant and what are the cash inflows ( Benefits) for each year of the useful life of this business.
