It is to Microsoft's biggest regrets that this issue has been overlooked by Microsoft in the past. We, Microsoft want to say that our latest insurance policies did not include freezing women's eggs within our policies. However, after much discussions and meetings with our insurance providers we are proud to say that work is being done to include freezing eggs in our polices that will be offered to all employees both male and female. This way our female employees who are working hard for us and may not be able to have a family do to many circumstances can still have that privilege later in life when they choose its time. Our male members will also have this policy so their wives can also partake in freezing eggs. This way we respect family planning for both genders. We at Microsoft value families and female rights to fertility. Therefore, with changes and additions to our insurance policies we guarantee we will be one of the best insurance providers for women and families on the market!

Provide accurate information:Tell us the 5Ws and H and facts of what happened with your proposed crisis

Who: Female employees sued Microsoft for freezing eggs to be part of their insurance packages.

What: law suit against Microsoft for freezing eggs to be part of their insurance packages.

Where: Redmond, WA

Why: Women employees want guarantees to have families later do to the process and because of the demanding careers they may not be able to right away.

How: After the lawsuit Microsoft has rewritten their insurance policy to be more family friendly.

For the remaining time of your prepared remarks, there are a variety of other things you may want to consider presenting before opening up to the press conference for questions, depending on the scenario you've chosen to present.

In response to the allegations on social media about Microsoft being against women's reproductive rights, this is completely false. We would have provided this service earlier if we had knew the procedure existed and was in demand from our employees. If anything our communications with Human Resources and our employees need to be strengthened. So, next time we solve such issues in house rather than, through a costly lawsuit.

Background: Did you have a great reputation/safety record/great IT security/maintenance logs before the crisis? Is your crisis unique to you, or is it industry wide?

We did have logs of and data of our HR department reaching out to employees about benefits and changes needed for the company. However, we failed to ask specifics especially with regards to reproductive rights.
