It has been suggested that students who listen to music while taking exams perform better that those who do not listen to music. Researchers selected students from a large physics class at random and divided the students into three groups. Each student was provided earphones and a music source prior to taking a test. The first group listened to Mozart, the second group listened to white noise, and the third group listened to ambient instrumental music. Grades for each group is presented below.
