Sukuk Comparison Case Study

Students are required to choose 2 (two) of the 4 (four) sukuk case studies (IDB sukuk, Dubai sukuk, Qatar sukuk, Malaysia sukuk) that have been provided by the lecturer and answer the variety of questions at the end with the purpose of comparing the 2 (two) chosen sukuk in terms of its key features for an investment consideration.

Project Guidelines

1) This is an individual group project
2) Students are expected to write between 2,500 - 3,500 words.
3) This assignment carries 40% weight of the final marks for the Islamic finance course.
4) Late submission will be penalized as:
a. 5% deduction each day for the first six (6) days late submission
b. Assignment will not be graded or accepted after 6 days.
5) If you are facing any problems, please make sure to contact lecturer before the due date.
6) Library resources must be used as needed and appropriately referred in the completion of this assignment. In addition, where appropriate, you MUST refer to other relevant financial journals/publications in support of your work.
7) Photo copying, cheating or any other academic dishonesty will not be accepted.
8) All references must be provided (Harvard style).
