Instructions:  Write a research report on the current financial performance, future prospectsand international trade risk of Best Buy (Canadian company) after performing various financial analyses (in Excel).  Your report should be typed in MSWord and consist of the following sections after you have completed your analysis and research.

1. Introductory paragraph (briefly explaining the purpose and content of your report as well as background of your company and the industry they operate in);

2. Comment on the profitability, efficiency, liquidity, leverage and market perspectives of the business (refer to your appendix A) by comparing at least 2 years of performances

3. Compare the results of your ratio analysis with the industry commenting on where the company is performing better/worse than the industry average. 

4. Perform a break-even analysis for the company to compute its operating leverage.

5. Analyze the capital structure of your company and comment on their future ability to pay financing cost and earn profit for investors.

6. Identify and discuss the current dividend policy followed by management of the company.

7. Analyze the net working capital structure and conduct an analysis of the short-term financing needs of your selected company.

8. Analyze the company’s exposure the international financial risk

9. Summary/conclusion of your report.

10. Appendixes – containing details of your calculations.
