To improve students' experience at the university, Qatar University provides a range of resources and facilities(food/restaurants, eBooks/educational material, sports facilities, clubs/students activities, Wi-Fi etc.) to its students but also imposes a set of rules and regulations (attendance, probation, minimum requirements, no mobile during lectures, common exams, deadlines, etc.). These resources and facilities as well as the rules and regulations are related to academic and non-academic matters. The university management is wondering

(i) Whether these resources and facilities provided are up to students' expectations,

(ii) Whether the rules and regulations are severe, fair or easy to follow and implement, and

(iii) Whether students' performance is affected by available resources and facilities and/or the rules and regulations.

To get feedback and suggestions about these resources and facilities as well as the rules and regulations, the university management asked Statics Teachers (including yours) to collect information about these resources and facilities and analyze it. To fulfill this task, the teacher needs you to do the following:

1. Design a questionnaire/survey about

a. TWO (2)resourcesand facilities available to students AND

b. TWO (2) rules and regulations at Qatar University.

You are totally free to choose the resources or facilities as well as the rules and regulations.

2. Make sure you ask students about their, age, GPA, whether they work or fully committed to university, major, year of study (first, second, third, fourth), etc.

3. You need to measure the level of satisfaction of students for the resources, facilities, rules, and regulations you choose.

4. Conduct the survey with at least Fifty (50) students. Make sure that you select a good sample (different ages, majors, years, GPAs, etc.)

5. Gather the data you collect in an Excel file

6. Perform two types of comparisons. (i) Independent samples, and (ii) much pairs experiments using either GPA or Ageto match students in two different groups you define (for example two different colleges):

a. The first test is about one resource or facility:whether means of the two groups you definedare different.

b. The second test is about one rule or regulation: whether means of the two groups you defined are different.

c. Interpret your results of the two tests.

7. Based on the results of your survey and test, write recommendations.
