In this assignment you will write a blog about research tools that can help a marketer understand product value and the competitive environment. Write content for your new blog entry titled: Product Value: What's it Worth?

Procedure

1. Research information about product value and how to perform a SWOT analysis.
2. Based on what you learned, write content for a three to five page blog covering the following concepts:
   1. Your brand's (Pizza Hut)  competitive situation today, including the industry, current customers, and prospects. Add a photo of the product being used, such as a customer vacuuming.
   2. Perform a SWOT analysis on your company and add a few sentences about what a SWOT analysis is and how it relates to your company's brand or service.
   3. How the brand's features create value with benefits for customers. For example, a computer's  touch screen feature creates a benefit of convenience for the customer by improving ease of use and providing faster information access.
   4. Use research such as a statistic from a marketing expert or quote from the company website or press release that discusses trends for the future or new opportunities the company is considering.
   5. An example of how the brand creates convenience for its customers.
3. Submit blog content in a Word Document (and the blog link if you posted to a free site). Optional: Create a blog by posting your content to a free site. A few free blog sites include www.simplesite.com and www.weebly.com.
4. Your assignment deliverable must be three to five pages long, and include a minimum of three sources. Format, cite, and reference your work in APA style.
