In the SLP for this course, you will apply theories and principles of management in your analysis of an actual criminal justice organization. This process builds your skills in the application of the knowledge that you've learned. Therefore, in this module, please choose a criminal justice organization of which you have some knowledge and that is of relevance and interest to you (e.g. military court). Be sure that you choose an organization that is of interest to you as well, given that you will be using this same organization for the Module 2-5 SLP assignments. Your chosen organization may be an entity with local, regional, national, or international jurisdiction.

Please write a 2- to 3-page paper, not including cover and reference pages, in which you address the following questions:

What is the name of this organization?
Does this organization use plea bargaining as a tool for reducing caseloads?
How does this organization handle plea bargains?
Who is involved?
Who is not involved? Should they be involved, and if so, why?
Be sure that you include the NAME OF YOUR CHOSEN ORGANIZATION on your cover sheet.
