I was recommended montelukast and found it really effective after requesting my doctor to prescribe this for me, however after requesting a repeat I was given a different brand which I found almost non effective. All symptoms returned. I raised this with the doctor but was told it was the same treatment. Has anyone else had this problem?

The brand I was on firstly and more effective for me was singlair the brand I am now on and finding no where near as effective is the glenmark generics if that helps. Have you found the same or is it psychosomatic as the doctor would seem to have me believe. I am suffering at the moment with asthma symptoms and feeling frustrated as a personal trainer and class instructor I really need to get this sorted.
